Winter Gaming Retreat 2019

  Feb 8 - Feb 10, 2019 Fri 5:00 PM - Sun 2:00 PM

Storm Date: February 22-24, 2019

A weekend get-away to play tabletop roleplaying games!

Some of the themes we will explore together: how to make the move from player to game leader; how to build inclusion and community; and how to support diversity, disability, and mental health through Roleplaying Games.

This event is designed for people 18 and above. Minors will be considered on a case-by-case basis with parental accompaniment and/or consent.

Leadership of this retreat is a collaboration between Heroes and Adventurers and the Tatamagouche Centre.

Program Cost:

We work hard to make our programs accessible for low income people, while ensuring that the true costs are covered.

When we receive funding towards our programs, we are inviting those able to pay the true cost of the program. Some will be able to donate a little extra to help support others. Some need a reduced price, and some need full financial support. If you need financial support, we really would like to hear from you as early as possible. We are particularily keen to support BI-POC folks, and LGBTQ youth and elders.

Program pricing:
A request for a single room adds $50 to the overall program cost. No accomodation required (if you are staying nearby) reduces the overall program cost by $80.

Generous Registration Cost: $350 ($100 support for another participant, tuition, meals & accommodation in double occupancy)

True Program Cost: $250 (tuition, meals & accommodation in double occupancy)

Subsidized Program Cost: $150 (tuition, meals & accommodation in double occupancy)

Can't afford it?

Please register as normal and indicate "partial bursary" or "full bursary" in the payment options and we will get in touch with you. We ask that bursary recipients pay a minimum of $10 to reserve your spot in the program.

Register by January 31 to reserve your place!
