We are seeking an On-Call Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring that guest rooms, communal areas, and facilities are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
Change linens, make beds, and replenish guest room supplies as needed.
Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and perform general cleaning duties.
Maintain laundry services, including washing, drying, and folding linens and towels.
Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate staff.
Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored.
Uphold the retreat center’s commitment to hospitality and cleanliness.
Qualifications & Skills
Prior experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or a similar role preferred.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, on an as-needed basis.
A positive and respectful attitude towards guests and staff.

Starting wage is $18-22/hr, dependent on experience

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will prepare home-style meals with love and care, support the kitchen staff in daily operations, and ensure cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas.
An understanding of cooking, knowledge of safe food handling practices and of different dietary needs are essential to ensure that all meals are prepared and served in a safe and inclusive manner.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, countertops, floors, and utensils
Assist in washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools
Help with food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, chopping, preparing vegetables
Assist kitchen staff with cooking tasks as needed
Take out trash and recycling and ensure waste is disposed of properly
Stock ingredients and supplies as needed, alerting Kitchen Manager of inventory
Help set up and break down kitchen workstations
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times
Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus but not required
Must be willing to work evenings & weekends
Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
Ability to handle basic kitchen equipment and tools
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take direction from senior kitchen staff
Must be reliable, respectful, and punctual
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Food Handlers Course required (can be completed once hired)
