Karen Fish

Karen Fish moved to Antigonish, Nova Scotia from Montreal in 2004, with her husband and son.
At a later career stage, she wanted to return to small town living, to be closer to forests and water, to move away from technical and often corporate work, and to be closer to the Maritime Shambhala buddhist community. The Antigonish area has provided her with teaching, research, facilitation and writing work, in educational and social justice areas, and the land and water continue to soothe and inspire. Karen has strong connections with the Tatamagouche Centre, primarily through her volunteer engagement with Breaking the Silence, but also through her attendance at many of the Centre’s life changing and supporting programs. She also has ties with the neighbouring Shambhala retreat centre, Dorje Denma Ling.

Welcome to the team Karen!
