Amy Brierley
Board Member- She/Her
Amy came to the Tatamagouche Centre board with a great love for places and experiences that allow individuals and communities to connect on common ground, do the necessary work to live in right relationship, and foster a more just and equitable world. She has a background in community engagement, social and ecological justice efforts, and studies in community development and journalism. Amy is currently working with the Halifax Regional Municipality’s Community Safety Programming & Partnerships division to coordinate a program focused on making municipal public spaces safer for women, non-binary, and gender diverse residents. Tatamgouche Centre has been a place of transformative learning and connection for her, and she is grateful to continue to support the Centre and learn alongside all the folks who make up the Tata Centre community.
