This Peace and Friendship gathering is focused on building a longhouse through longhouse teachings with Wabanaki Elders. The weekend will include ceremony, sacred circle and widening the circle of Indigenous and settler youth engagement in Indigenous rights and in living as treaty people. Acknowledging the land, and value the gifts and teachings which come to us through our relations with different ages, ancestry, colour, belief, place of origin, and race. The teachings of respect, relationships, responsibility, and reverence will be offered so that younger generation may continue and strengthen the circle of understanding and caring.
