Shelley has visited Tatamagouche Centre for over 40 years and has experienced it as a place of social and personal transformation. She is medically retired from the Ordained Ministry of the United Church after a brain injury in 2007. Shelley continues to live out her calling by serving as the Volunteer Chaplain for Brain Injury NS, chairing the Bermuda and Nova Scotia Region of the United Church’s Affirm Committee, and serving on the Tatamagouche Centre board of directors. She is honoured to help the Centre live up to its mission.
